Doug
Amos
In addition to hosting Prep Sports
Weekly since its inception
in 1994, Doug has hosted numerous radio shows in his hometown of
Montgomery. For nine years he co-hosted The Morning
Line with the late Jim Fyffe, and is currently host
of The RoundTable on PSW
affiliate, SportsRadio 740. Doug is also the Assistant Athletic
Director for Media Relations and Marketing at Faulkner University,
where he broadcasts football and basketball games. He has been involved
in sports media since 1984, when he started his career as a sportswriter
covering Auburn and Alabama for the Montgomery Advertiser.
Doug and his wife Karla have
one daughter, Reyn.
Rick
Cleveland
Coach Rick Cleveland has been
the co-host of Prep-Sports Weekly since
2005, and the host of The Prep Sports Report
on PSW affiliate, WNSP in Mobile since
2000.
He joined the UMS Wright football
staff in 2004. He has served as Assistant Coach and Head Coach of
the freshman football team as well as an Assistant on the Varsity
Football staff. Coach Cleveland is currently the Offensive Line
Coach for the Bulldogs.
Coach Cleveland is a native of Sylacauga, AL, where he played high
school football under the legendary Tom Calvin. He played basketball
and tennis at Huntingdon College where he was a NAIA All American
in 1976. He earned a BS degree from Troy State. Coach Cleveland
has coached high school football for 29 years at Talladega HS, Banks
HS in Birmingham, Northview-Dothan, Prattville, Robertsdale, Daphne,
and was the Head Coach at Fairhope for 3 years. He has coached in
5 state championship games: 1981- Northview, 1984 - Prattville,
(3) in Daphne including the 2001 6A Championship game and the 2005
UMS-Wright State Championship game.
Coach Cleveland also serves as Head Boys' Tennis coach at UMS-Wright,
where his teams have won two runners-up titles and the 4-A State
Championship in 2006. He is the former State Director of High School
tennis in Alabama.
Coach Cleveland and his wife Cheri have three children: Clay, Catie
and Elle.
Michael
Butler
Michael received his Broadcasting
Degree from the University of Alabama in 1994. He worked at both
campus radio stations there. Afterwards, he moved to Huntsville
as an air personality on WRSA-FM. Michael was Operations Manager
of Sports Radio 740 and AM 950 while in Montgomery. He also hosted
the weekly television show, “Focus on Football,” as well as “The
Rob Spivery Show." Michael served on the Faulkner Sports Network
and was the play-by-play voice for Huntingdon Hawks Basketball.
He has also been part of the State Finals Network during championship
coverage of Alabama High School Athletic Association broadcasts.
Since 1999, Michael has been
Owner/Operator of Prep Sports Weekly flagship
station, WTLS in Tallassee. In 2004, he was named "Business
Person of the Year" by the Tallassee Chamber of Commerce. In
2007, WTLS won the Alabama Broadcasters Association "Station
of the Year" award. Michael and wife Leigh Anne have two children:
Georgia Anne and Jack, as well as two pets: P.J. & Kitty.
